Ideas to find the best color contact lenses

Here at TurtleContacts, we deal with colored contact lenses all day. We live and breathe contact lenses, and try to help our customers as much as possible.

One problem that most new customers have, is choosing which color suits them best. All the staff at TurtleContacts have tried variations of colors and styles and there is one common thing that we notice:

The color you think will look best on you, often doesn't.

So for example, a new customer might think that green contact lenses will look great on them. So they purchase green lenses, and then realize that they don't look that great, and stop there... But if they had tried blue contact lenses, they would of noticed an AMAZING difference that simply looks stunning!

For me personally, having dark brown eyes, I originally thought gray would look great on me. I tried gray but didn't like how they looked. In the end I found out that sky blue looks great on me, and so I found my color.

So we are thinking of piecing together some sample packs, where you can try a variety of different colors to find the best match for your eyes.

We would love to hear some feedback from our customers on this.

What kind of sample packs would you be interested in?

Non prescription Coloured contact lenses

Even if you don't need to wear contact lenses to see properly, you can wear colour contact lenses to change your eye colour whenever you feel like it. In fact, you'll have the advantage over those who need to wear prescription coloured contact lenses since non-prescription lenses are much cheaper. Even if you wear glasses to see, though, you can wear non-prescription colour contact lenses behind your glasses to really make your eyes stand out.

Buying non-prescription coloured contact lenses is pretty easy. You can get them from many online stores, but you should definitely look for lenses from reputable companies. Although these may be a little more expensive, they'll be more comfortable and safer for your eyes. Don't forget when you're using non-prescription colour contact lenses that you need to care for them just as you would care for prescription contacts unless, of course, they are disposable lenses that you throw away after every use. Find a contact cleansing solution that you like and keep it on hand for the days that you decide to wear your coloured contact lenses so that you can properly clean and store your reusable lenses.

Also, follow an eye doctor's instructions for using non-prescription colour contact lenses just like you would for prescription contacts. Don't wear the lenses for longer than you should, and don't sleep in them, since this poses a big risk for scratches to your cornea, which is very painful. Also, replace your lenses on a regular schedule.
