How Much Novelty Contact Lenses Cost

If you’re thinking about using novelty contact lenses to dress up for a play or a costume party or just to freak out your friends and family members, the good news is that you’ll have tons and tons of options to choose from. There are literally hundreds of websites that sell novelty contact lenses, and you can even buy some from your local optometrist if you want. However, you may want to check out prices before you dive right in.

Because contact lenses are so specialized, they can be pretty expensive. The good thing, though, is that novelty contact lenses are often non-prescription, which does make them cheaper. Still, you may find yourself paying forty or fifty dollars for a pair of contacts that will last you three months. That’s all well and good if you’re planning to wear the lenses every day, but it might be a bit much if you’re only going to wear them once or twice for a particular occasion.

The best way to save on novelty contact lenses is to compare prices at several different online stores. Be sure, though, that you’re taking into account how many novelty contact lenses are in each box and how long those contacts will last. It may be worth paying a bit more for contacts that you can use multiple times, but if you’re only planning to wear them once, you’ll want to go with the cheapest option. Don’t forget, too, that you want to buy your contacts from a reputable company who will sell you a quality product.

Choosing a Colour for Your Contact Lenses

These days, you can get tons of colored contact lenses, which can be a really fun way to spice up your look. Even if you like your natural eye color, choosing a new color for your eyes every few days can be fun, and if you do like your natural color, you can easily choose to alternate between colored contact lenses and regular contact lenses so that you can go natural some days and a different color on other days, and even if you don't wear prescription lenses, you can enjoy using colored contact lenses when you feel like it since you can get them in non-prescription form.

Colored contacts are so easy to find that the most difficult part is probably choosing what color you want. This will be made a little simpler if you know what eye color you've always wanted to have. One of the simplest ways to use these contacts is to enhance your natural eye color; if you have blue eyes, you could try a bright blue color, and if you have brown or hazel eyes, you could dry a deep chocolate color.

You can also choose to go with a completely different eye color with colored contact lenses. This is easier if you have light-colored eyes like blue or green; if this is the case, you can use just about any color you want. If you have dark eyes, you'll still have a lot of options because there are now colored contact lenses for dark eyes. You can turn your brown eyes to blue!
